Classification – dry red wine without PDO/PGI.

Grape variety – Xinomavro 80%, Merlot 20%.

Vineyard – mountainous vineyards around Naoussa at approximately 450 m.

Vinification – classic red vinification, followed by 12 months of maturation in oak barrels.

Appearance – deep purple.

Aroma – expressive red and dark fruit, with cherry and blackcurrant, layered with dried herbs, black pepper and subtle vanilla from the oak.

Palate – balanced and medium-bodied, with fresh acidity, soft tannins and a savory, spicy finish.

Food pairing – charcuterie, juicy burgers, grilled meats, pasta with meat sauces and semi-hard cheeses.

Serving temperature – 16–18 °C.
