Vineyard – vineyards in Koutsi, Nemea, on clay-limestone soils in the semi-mountainous zone.
Vinification – classic red vinification with 5–6 days of skin contact, followed by 8–10 months of maturation in used French oak barrels.
Appearance – bright ruby.
Aroma – pronounced red fruit, nuts and sweet spices, with a subtle vanilla note.
Palate – dry and balanced, with fresh acidity, soft velvety tannins and a smooth, persistent finish.
Food pairing – meat dishes with light red sauces, chicken with hilopites, giouvetsi with eggplant purée and octopus cooked in vinegar.
Serving temperature – 15–18 °C.
