Classification – dry red wine, PGI Central Greece.
Grape variety – Merlot 70%, Mouhtaro 30%.
Vineyard – Merlot from the south/southeastern slopes of Mount Helicon at approximately 280 m on clay soils, blended with Mouhtaro from the Muses Valley at approximately 380–420 m on clay and gravel soils.
Vinification – the two varieties are vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The final blend is assembled after each wine has completed malolactic fermentation.
Appearance – deep ruby.
Aroma – fresh red berries and red and black cherry, with delicate floral notes and sweet spice.
Palate – medium-bodied and balanced, with refreshing acidity, round tannins, ripe red fruit and notes of cinnamon and clove.
Food pairing – braised beef, roast pork, tomato-based meat dishes, charcuterie and semi-hard cheeses.
Serving temperature – 16–18 °C.
